Brielle Brown is a 20+ year entertainment industry veteran, whose work bridges artistry, activism, and education.
Her diverse background as a songwriter, performer, producer, creative director, and former music therapist has given her valuable insight and a unique perspective on what it takes to develop, execute, & sustain a purposeful and rewarding career in the industry. Through her multidisciplinary approach, she focuses on root stories and art as a living practice and is concerned with our current relationship with music in today’s global digital landscape. Her work echoes her belief that art isn't a luxury but a vital thread in human connection.
Brielle has developed artists seen on American Idol, The Voice, The Four, The Voice Australia, Later with Jools Holland, and Brazil's Estrela da Casa. Her work has been showcased across various media platforms, including MTV, VH1, ESPN, ABC, The Huffington Post, and USA Today. She has collaborated with artists including Evvie McKinney, Remy Bond, Gedeon Luke & The People, Little Stranger, Jacquie Lee, UNNA X, and Noshows.
In recent years, Brielle has worked closely on campaigns with companies such as UE3 Promotions, Musician Guidance, The Syndicate, One RPM Studios, Croshal Entertainment Group, Prospect PR, and C3 Management. She and her husband, Grammy-winning songwriter and producer Marc Swersky, have worked together on several development projects and co-manage the indie label Monocentric Music. Brielle is co-founder and creative producer for Story & Bone, a design initiative aimed at helping music makers and change-shapers in crafting their visual narratives.
Her personal artistic endeavors have been described as “spell-bounding, unapologetically unguarded, and naturally transcendent”. Her 2021 album was voted a June ‘21 top release by Americana Highways and awarded the 2021 Album of the Year by Indieshark Music Magazine. “Concrete Stars” won honorable mention in 2020’s International Songwriting Competition. Her self-produced & directed video for “She’s Come to Sing” was awarded Best Music Video at The Big Apple Film Festival, Fall ’21 and premiered at AMC Theaters in Times Square.
Her June 2025 album, In Art & Soil the Same, welcomes anyone who is searching for deeper meaning within our collective human experience. The album's singles have garnered industry praise, with Atwood Magazine calling “Blessing” a “bold battle cry for resilience and renewal” and NJ Stage likening “Get Back to the Garden” (featuring The Carlile Family Band) to a “Joni Mitchell-like anthem”. In addition to her personal art, Brielle is frequently requested as a background vocalist, working on multiple label projects.
Brielle received a BFA in Theater and a Certificate in Creative Arts Therapies from The New School University where she graduated with honors. Her fields of study included music therapy, psychology, and creative writing. She is also an alumnus of The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, New York. Brielle is a certified early childhood educator and has worked as a music therapist specializing in care for autistic and neurodivergent children and teens in both clinical and classroom settings. She serves on the Steering Committee for the Louis Armstrong Center for Music and Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and co-chaired their 2021 gala. Additionally, she is a voting member of The Recording Academy and an official Grammy U mentor. Brielle was recently awarded a 15-month moral-leadership based fellowship with The Witness Institute, founded by Rabbi Ariel Burger & Elisha Wiesel (son of Holocaust survivor and Nobel Peace Prize recipient, Elie Wiesel.) Whether in the studio, classroom or behind the scenes, Brielle makes art a force for healing and change.
She currently resides in Monmouth County, NJ with her husband and twin children. When not working, Brielle is busy navigating the great paradox of motherhood, and allowing space for inspiration in quiet rituals.
